Elaine first launched Gross Pay Ltd in the early 2010s while working towards her AAT qualification. After a period of dormancy, she relaunched the business full-time in 2019—and hasn’t looked back since.
One of Elaine’s earliest clients, a lecturer, became a key referral source. Another, a popcorn startup, grew from 4 employees at 1 site to 50+ employees at muti sites while with Gross Pay Ltd. Elaine brings over 20 years of accounts experience, including time with major institutions in Central London. Her strengths lie in payroll, bookkeeping, and building client relationships that last. She’s known for going the extra mile—whether that means stepping in as a client’s outsourced payroll team or helping business owners feel bigger and more organised with virtual admin support.
Charlotte Smith – Accounts Assistant
A former Royal Navy servicewoman, Charlotte now manages her own clients within Gross Pay Ltd. She specialises in bookkeeping and credit control and is currently completing her AAT qualifications. Juggling work and two young children, Charlotte adds drive, resilience, and a personal touch to every client interaction.
